Given half a chance, many people today, including Christians would choose Barabbas yet again!

Even after multiple lessons revealed to us from past ancestors, who wreaked catastrophic consequences through bad decisions, many people especially religious types; if given the choice, would choose the barbaric antics of people such as Barabbas, over a peaceful solution yet again. It is very disappointing, but, necessary to acknowledge how, we, as a people, have literally gone full circle, just to land right back where we started. Unfortunately, most of us, when frustrated, are far too willing to choose hostility over calm and violence over extending an olive branch. Remember, blessed are the peacemakers? What ever happened to that Biblical application?
John 18: 40 They shouted back, “No, not him! Give us Barabbas!” Now Barabbas had taken part in an uprising.
An uprising?
Oh, so you mean an insurrection?
It appears that historically we have a similar instance when people chose the path of an insurrectionist’s over a peaceful resolution to their political disagreements.
Obviously we are talking about our current leader and President, Donald Trump. Please, don’t get me wrong, I am in no way advocating that President Biden, or Kamala Harris are righteous redeemers! I am merely pointing out, how so often, when given the choice between violence and a conflict-free solution, most people tend to choose violence! Historically, it appears that we are doomed to consistently relive our former mistakes, over and over and over again.
Why is this?
One would think that peaceful people, desire leaders who seek to resolve issues of disputes using diplomacy. A negotiator who is willing to compromise, make concessions and lead all parties toward a peaceful resolution. Unfortunately, the people of this modern era are not peaceful at all! The people of this era prefer to resolve global issues, using disrespectful language, screaming threats of retaliation while poorly imitating past dictators. Today Americans have chosen a leader who often engages in childish temper tantrums unabashed. Unfortunately too many people have come to reject the lessons in peacefulness, taught in the Bible. They no longer agree with the love thy neighbor policy of the good book, and have chosen instead the hateful, divisive rhetoric, of demons!
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:24 “Make no friendship with the man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man.”
According to Yehoshua, there is never a time or place for violence!
Matthew 26:50 reads Yehoshua replies, “Do what you came for, friend.” Then the men stepped forward, seized Yehoshua and arrested him. (51) With that, one of Yehoshua’s companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.
(52) “Put your sword back in its place,” Yehoshua said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword!
This very analogy could also be applied to other weapons’ people depend upon, currently, this would include explosives, nuclear weapons and guns!
(53) Do you think I cannot call on my FATHER, and HE will at once put at MY disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
It is so interesting how church people AKA Evangelicals (or generally Christians), insists on owning guns to ensure safety for themselves and their families. They fiercely maintain that citizens have the right to violently over-throw their governments if they disagree with the out-come of an election, completely ignoring the portions in the Bible which offer clear instructions on how to behave towards one another, implementing loving kindness and a forgiving spirit.
Zechariah 7:9 This is what the LORD ALMIGHTY said: “Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another.”
Matthew 25: 37-40 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ ”
It would seem that many people today actually believe shooting, beating, raping, drowning and/or jailing immigrants of undesirable nationalities, whether legal or illegal is acceptable behavior. These immigrants are people, human beings, who fled war torn countries and inhumane conditions for a better life. Unfortunate also, many Christians seem to have absolutely no problem with forcibly separating refugee children, from their parents.
These appear to be MAGA Republicans who have become vigorous believers in a “shoot first, ask questions later” motto of homicidal psychopaths. Unfortunately, this murderous mindset completely dismisses everything taught to us by YEHOSHUA, the MESSIAH. 1st Peter 4:8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
Matthew 5: 43-47 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?
Believe in HIM or not, GOD exist! HE continues to evaluate every action and motive!

True people of GOD believe that GOD is the ONE IN CHARGE, Not us!
No GOD fearing person, who actually trust in HIM would ever need a gun! Sadly though, these people (along with Evangelicals and other church goers) have proven themselves to be faithless hypocrites! By their fowl choices and cruel behaviors, they have proven that they hold very little trust in GOD. What they do trust, however, is their own pride, narcissism and human will.
Matthew 26:52 “Put your sword back in its place,” Yeshua said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword!
Is it possible to replace the word “sword” used here with “gun”? For all who draw the gun will die by the gun. The Greek word, “machaira” #3162 translated in English as sword would physically be described as a dagger, a knife often used in sacrifice, but, figuratively it is associated with war, or judicial punishment.
At what point will people stop forcing their own human will, and patiently wait on GOD’s WILL to prevail?
GOD’s WILL! That seems like a foreign concept doesn’t it? This is most likely because today’s Christian Church, along with many other religions rarely if ever practice the patient, peaceful, hands off approach taught in the so-called Christian Bible! Many ministers continue to play politics, leading people in the opposite direction of faith and peace. They rarely if ever choose the humble approach requiring us to trust and wait on GOD!!
In Luke 23:19, Barabbas was “in prison with the rebels who had committed murder during an insurrection.” Now let’s be clear, an insurrection would include fighting, weapons, violence, and most likely murder, and yet, they chose Barabbas over peace. They chose him over love. Following his shameful descent into wickedness over the peaceful righteous “way” of GOD’s Messiah!!!
Fast forward into today. During the “American Insurrection of January 6, 2020,” insurrectionist not only sought to overturn a free and fair election (the legal votes of over 80 million people) but they also attempted to over-throw the American government. Their objective was to attack the congress, drag the speaker of the house and the vice president publicly onto gallows and to hang them live before a television audience!
Even worse, after all was said and done, a majority of the American people saw nothing wrong with releasing over 1,500 of those violent insurrectionist, back onto the streets to antagonize more innocent people!
Offenders who continued to be led by hate and fueled by violence were radicalized by Donald Trump, who sought to hunt and kill elected officials, along with the vice president, Mike Pence, for refusing throw out millions of legal ballots! Violent criminals who have no respect for state or federal laws nor the judicial jurisprudence by which they derived.
Unfortunately, many of these insurrectionist were probably Evangelicals themselves! Regrettably, these people, who claim to love the Bible, and the Lord, don’t even follow the laws of the land much less the laws of GOD!!!
Romans 13: 1-2 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from GOD, and those that exist have been instituted by GOD. 2) Therefore whoever resist the authorities, resist what GOD has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. This is pursuant to laws that were legally set in place by courts and other governing bodies.
This is a proclamation, confirming that we are to abide by the law of the land. Regardless of president or senate majority our trust should always remain in GOD and not man. Attempting to murder people we disagree with, trying to steal an election, or engaging in the act of violently overthrowing any government is absolutely unacceptable behavior, according to YEHOSHUA. Attempting to murder anyone, including the capital police, government officials, or state and federal judges is not only considered the breaking government laws but, the breaking of GOD’s perfect law, HIS Ten Commandments; do not murder!
Unfortunately, Donald Trump is responsible for leading a violent coup. Just as Barabbas did two thousand years ago.

According to AP News— A New York judge ordered Donald Trump and his companies on February 2024, pay $355 million in penalties, finding that they engaged in a years long scheme to dupe banks and others with financial statements that inflated his wealth.
Judge Arthur Engoron concluded that Trump and his company was “likely to continue their fraudulent ways” without the financial penalties and other controls he imposed. Engoron concluded that Trump and his co-defendants “failed to accept responsibility” and that experts who testified on his behalf “simply denied reality.”
Romans 13:7 Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.
A jury in Manhattan found President Donald Trump’s company guilty of a long-running criminal tax fraud scheme that lasted into his presidency. Unfortunately, this is who the American people chose to lead our government.
In all, a New York jury of his peers, found two entities controlled by Trump guilty on 17 counts of criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records. The maximum penalty was $1.6 million.
Isn’t it disturbing how so many Church people and Evangelicals see nothing wrong with such avarice behavior?
It is quite clear that GOD is sending a powerful message!
In revealing these deplorable behavior, GOD makes it crystal clear that this man, is no man of GOD!

Unfortunately, many recent polls have found that over 70% of White Evangelicals continue to support Donald Trump! After he was issued four indictments! After he was accuse of sexual assault by at least 32 women! And even after he was found guilty of multiple counts of fraud. These White Evangelicals continue to choose Trump over truth, over justice, even over righteousness, just as the mis-guided people of the past chose Barabbas, people today have chosen an insurrectionist, a liar, and a thief once again.
These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

Most people claim they want to live in a peacefully environment, yet, so many continue to choose violence over calm, divisiveness over unity, cruelty over mercy and defiance over restraint! They continue to reject the peaceful “way” of Yehoshua the Messiah, preferring the chaos and destruction of demons!
When given a choice, men continue to follow the path of descent, later, they weep and lament as humanity devolves into wickedness!

According to Politico in over a five-month span, President Donald Trump was charged in four criminal cases. In Washington, D.C., he was charged with four felony counts for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
Two of the charges were related to the disruption of Congress ‘certification of the electoral vote on Jan. 6. And one alleges a scheme to defraud the United States through a sustained effort to impede the collection, counting and certification of votes in the 2020 election. The fourth charge accuses Trump of a conspiracy to deprive citizens of a right secured under federal law — specifically, the right to vote and to have one’s vote counted.
In 1st Timothy 3: 2-3, “So a overseer (or president, one who serves the people), must be a man whose life is above reproach. He must be faithful to his wife. He must exercise self-control, live wisely, and have a good reputation. He must enjoy having guests in his home, and he must be able to teach. He must not be a heavy drinker or be violent. He must be gentle, not quarrelsome, and not love money.”
None of 1st Timothy 3:2-3 descriptors, apply to Donald Trump’s character! Yet he is the clear choice for tens of millions, including Christians to lead the nation.
In Georgia, Trump had 13 felony counts as a result of his election interference in that state.
But wait, there’s more….
There is another charge. In April 2021 Trump shared national secrets about U.S. nuclear submarines. The magnate, Anthony Pratt, have reportedly told federal investigators that Trump told him the “supposed exact number of nuclear warheads they routinely carry, and exactly how close they could get to a Russian submarine without being detected.”
According to Wikipedia, Trump regularly shredded “both sensitive and mundane” documents while at the White House (a clear violation), at Mar-a-Lago, and on Air Force One, despite repeated admonishments from at least two of his chiefs of staffs and from White House council.
Trump aides had to develope special practices and protocols early in his presidency to retrieve the piles of torn paper, attempting to tape documents back together with the help of other staffers from the Office of the Staff Secretary and the Oval Office Operations team.
Unfortunately though, not all materials were recovered; some White House staffers frequently used “burn bags” to destroy documents. On at least two occasions, Trump allegedly flushed documents down the toilet at the White House residence.

Make it illegal to retain records containing sensitive national security information. I am quite sure this also applies to shredding and flushing them down toilets.
Unsurprisingly, Trump kept highly sensitive documents after leaving office!

32 counts against Trump for 32 specific documents that he allegedly hoarded at Mar-a-Lago and refused to give back, after his presidency. Of the 32 documents, 31 were marked classified, and many concerned foreign military capabilities, military activities or nuclear weapons, according to the indictment.
The remaining eight felony counts arise from Trump’s alleged efforts to stymie the investigation, including directing Walt Nauta (Trump’s butler and body man) to move boxes optimistic that neither Trump’s own lawyers nor the FBI would discover the classified documents, according to “Politico.”

Before he was re-elected president his many criminal counts included…

On May 30, 2024, Trump became the first US president to become a convicted felon. In November 2024 he was re-elected president of the United States. He was found guilty of falsifying business records in connection with a payoff to Stormy Daniels, a porn star who claimed she had a sexual encounter with him, while he was married to wife, Melonia Trump.

If all of this treachery and malfeasance wasn’t enough, he was also found guilty by a jury of his peers for assaulting a New York woman!
According to “The New York Times” in May (2023), a jury found that Donald Trump sexually abused E. Jean Carroll, a former advice columnist for Elle magazine who said he assaulted her nearly three decades ago in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room.
An article in “Politico,” written by Erica Orden and Wesley Parnell, titled “Jury finds Trump liable for sexual abuse in E. Jean Carroll case” Also reported that a federal jury found that Donald Trump sexually abused and defamed E. Jean Carroll, a writer who accused the president of attacking her in a department store dressing room in the 1990’s.
The verdict in the civil trial marks the first time Trump, who has been accused over decades of sexual misconduct by dozens of women, and children, has been held legally responsible for sexual assault.
And, in spite of all his lies, fraud, government conspiracies’, insurrections and multiple sex scandals…
Did I mention that he was best friends with the most notorious child – predator, sex trafficker and rapist of our time for literally decades? In spite of all this, White Evangelicals chose Donald Trump as their leader!

Just to be clear, no one could possibly know why Donald Trump was re-elected as president by a majority of Americans. It is shocking after all his deplorable behavior, witnessed by millions of people around the entire globe, that such a man would be nominated by Republicans, much less chosen as a leader by the people. Yet, many Americans, especially church going Bible thumping types, continue to ignore Biblical law, YEHOSHUA’s words of guidance, credible news outlets, fact checkers and even the judgment’s of legal court cases to defend this man. Donald Trump is a liar, it is documented and verified by several credible News sources that he told over thirty thousand lies during his first term in office.
The 9th commandment, Exodus 20:16, states “You shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.”
Proverbs 19:9 “A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies will not escape.”
What is currently in store for a mighty nation who condones such disgusting behavior? No one knows, however, I do believe that Donald Trump is GOD’s weapon of choice to conclude (or end), this famous saga, once held as, “the American Experiment.” (The ambitious undertaking of establishing a self-governing republic, founded on principles of liberty, democracy, and individual rights).
If Trump’s base,(the 70% of White Evangelicals who put him in office) doubt that the end is upon us, it is further Biblical confirmation, showing how corruption would overtake the entire world. Eventually by one means or another it will poison all men. Steering the people onto a crooked path leading to massive catastrophic sin and grossly un-natural wickedness.
It would appear that the self proclaimed Christian MAGA (maggots), continue to demolish every institution and government pillar, once believed to be the very foundation of the nation’s democratic purpose.
Stay strong believers, do not despair. Keep the faith, and continue to be the light that shines brightly over corruption, constantly revealing GOD’s Truth! Shine your light in the darkness without fear exposing Satan’s deception. Continue to illuminate the contrast between truth and lie, Love and hate, kindness and depravity, uncovering all truth demons diligently try to hide.
