The Night Is Upon Us! (a poem)
Thousands of people vanish, yet no one cares.
One by one voices silenced, not one is spared.
Their hopes are extinguished in this reality ruled by hate.
No place for innocence, so injustice, and cruelty becomes fate!
Men are too afraid to defend the righteous,
as cowardice reigns discouraging justice.
Stop this!
I command you, don’t sin against the truth! Too late, another lie woven, as more corruption is introduced. They are deceiving young minds turning their hearts as black as coal. No one dare stop it, as iniquity unfolds.
This wickedness is covert, completely intangible, yet one by one they fall, it’s absolutely unimaginable;
that deception could succeed so easily in plain sight!
I watch in horror as day turns to night!
